Orange Day:
Class: Nursery A and B

Orange is a dynamic colour and stimulates imagination and creativity.
A perfect ambience was created according to the theme. Our little ones were given the choice to dress up as they wanted in an orange object. It was fancy to see some of them dressed as a pumpkin, an orange fruit, a flower, a starfish, an orange fish etc.
Students were eager to speak about their attire. During Niyaz time they enjoyed peeling and eating oranges. This activity enhanced their fine motor skills and eye- hand coordination.
A memory game was played. Some orange objects were kept inside a box, they were shown these objects for 1 min and then the box was closed; students had to recall and name the objects in the box.
This was followed by a worksheet in which they used the orange peel to paint inside the outline of an orange given. They had a fun day with the orange colour.
